Interview for BBC 6 Music & Other News

Our London gig was good, ta.

Tom Robinson has interviewed Penny and it is being broadcast on BBC 6 Music during his Introducing show in the early hours of Monday morning (between 01.00-03.00 GMT, 24th November). He's also going to play Break It Up & Beat It. It'll be on Listen Again after the show, if you are not awake at silly o'clock, at the usual place - http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/tom_robinsons_introducing/

In other news, we are doing the following exciting things:
1) Recording a live session for BBC Raw Talent Introducing on 7th Dec. If you live in Leeds or Humberside, you can hear it go out live that evening. If not, there is always web streaming or ye olde Listen Again. Three songs. All of which will be new to anyone who has not seen us live recently.
2) Releasing the extremely limited edition Sparkle The Dark EP - with brand new Christmas song and other goodies. It comes with a booklet of short stories by award-winning writers, based on Penny's lyrics, and a free badge. The packaging is hand-made and hand-printed, from recycled chipboard and recycled paper. It is sparkly... The CDs look like vinyl. Every copy will be numbered and there won't be many of them. Full details to come soon...
3) Playing the Cockpit in Leeds on Dec 13th with two of our favourite bands, The Manhattan Love Suicides and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. Tickets are a fiver, do get in touch about that.
4) CHRISTMAS PARTY! At the Adelphi in Hull on 20th Dec, with our friends The Rocky Nest, Awash With AntleR and Mammal Hum. There will be mince pies, freebies, new songs, extra brass and JOY.
